#4 - Street Dance
Street dance, more formally known as vernacular dance, is an umbrella term used to describe dance styles that evolved outside of dance studios in any available open space such as streets, parks, school yards, raves, and nightclubs.
These dances generally evolve out of urban and suburban spaces in some form of underground culture or region; they are a part of the vernacular culture of that area (as if they were folk dances).

#5 - Ballroom, Latin & Performance Dancing
"Ballroom dance" refers most often to the ten dances of International Standard (Dance, Waltz, Tango, Viennese & Foxtrot) and International Latin (Samba, ChaChaCha, Rumba, Paso Doble, Jive).
Sequence dancing, which is danced predominantly in the United Kingdom, is also sometimes included as a type of Ballroom dancing.
Latin dance includes a wide range of dances originating in Latin America, Puerto Rico and Cuba. Examples include the Cha-cha-cha, Rumba, Samba, Salsa, Mambo, Danza, Merengue, Tumba, Bachata, Bomba, Plena and Bolero.
The most popular performance dances styles are Ballet, Contemporary/Lyrical, Flamenco, Modern dance and Tap dance.

#6 - Swing Dance
"Swing dance" is a group of dances that developed concurrently with the swing style of jazz music in the 1920s, '30s and '40s, although the earliest of these dance forms predate swing jazz music.
The best known of these dances is the Lindy Hop, a popular partner dance that originated in Harlem and is still danced today. Others include Modern Jive, Leroc, Lindy Hop, Blues dance, Jitterbug and Charleston, among many.

#7 - Belly Dancing
Belly dancing has recently been made popular by Latin American superstar Shakira. Although she is Colombian, her part-Lebanese background has influenced her style.
Most of the movements in belly dancing involve isolating different parts of the body (hips, shoulders, chest, stomach etc.), which appear similar to the isolations used in jazz ballet, but are often driven differently.
In much of bellydance there is a focus upon the core muscles of the body producing the movement rather than the external muscles of the body. Egyptian and Lebanese bellydance in particular emphasise the need for movemements to originate in the muscles of the back. Correct posture is as important in bellydance as it is in other fields of dance.
Important moves are: Shiver or Shimmy – a shimmering vibration of the hips; Hip hits – A staccato movement of the hips out from the body; Undulations – Fluid movements of the hips or of the chest in a circular or rotating fashion.
