Life Clubs
Want to get more out of life?
Life Clubs were started in 2004 by Nina Grunfeld, former Daily Telegraph (Get A Life) columnist and author of The Big Book of Me, The Life Book and How To Get What You Want.
Practical, fun and inspirational, Life Clubs weekly workshops are run throughout the UK and Canada and are a great way to access expert self-improvement guidance without the high price tag.
Nina created 50 workshops – one for every week of the year – and with each of them you’ll gain self-knowledge and inspiration and learn practical tools to help you get more out of life. Plus you’re part of a supportive group of people all wanting the same thing – a great opportunity for networking. Our Clubbers start businesses, get fit, find love (for themselves as well as others) and achieve things they never thought possible.

North East Life Coach - Abi (Newcastle upon Tyne, Tyne and Wear)

“My interest in personal development was sparked when a friend of a friend coached me during his life coach training – a transformative experience that jolted me out of the comfortable but unfulfilling rut in which I'd parked myself. I realised that I wanted to work in a career helping people change their lives and feel happier, so I trained as a coach myself. I now work for a charity which helps find people voluntary work in other organisations.
When I came across Life Clubs, I knew it was just right for me. The ethos of feeling happy while moving forwards through fun and self-discovery fits with my positive and energetic character, and the weekly meetings provide the right amount of structure to keep motivation high. I just love the way that the buddy system brings out the natural coach in us all – if there's one thing better than seeing the look on a Clubber's face when they have a Lightbulb Moment, it's the look on the face of the Clubber that helped them get there.”
Testimonial
Helen Cobain: “A friend in London had been going to Life Clubs for some time. When she found out that there was a club opening in Newcastle, she recommended it to me. Part of my job involves helping people develop themselves and reach their goals, so I have a keen interest in personal development.
I instantly ‘clicked’ with Life Clubs. There’s not a single workshop I’ve attended that I haven’t enjoyed or gotten something out of. Abi, the club Host has been really supportive, every step of the way.
I had been studying sugarcraft in my spare time for over a year before joining Life Clubs and often made cakes for friends and family. Shortly after joining Life Clubs, more and more opportunities started to come my way as my reputation grew. Life Clubs helped me to realise that I could make my hobby into a successful business. I even identified that I had everything I needed to do this, including an extensive collection of vintage aprons and crockery!
I am now running that successful business ‘Candy Handfuls Boutique Bakery’ and (please embed the website link) I have joined the British Sugarcraft Guild and will be taking part in a Guild Sugarcraft exhibition next year.
I am busier than I have ever been, working full time and running a business isn’t easy, but Life Clubs has given me the tools to plan my time effectively and I love every single second of running my business and watching it grow. I have an unshakeable faith in my abilities.”
