A lot of activities offer a free 'go' or trial with a class or lesson, so you can try something new before committing to a course or regular weekly class. Some even offer more than one class 4 free or a local council might even provide a completely free activity or event.

It's a great way to try a range of activities before you have to spend a lot of money on classes or equipment.

To help you easily spot activities with a free trial we have started to add our new Try Something 4 Free logo to many listings across the UK on all our websites.

Our “Try Something New For Free” Campaign is running now through to the end of February 2012 and will give our readers an opportunity to try a host of activities in their local areas for FREE!

2012 Olympics & Paralympics – All the Events at a glance!

With the 2012 Olympics and Paralympics coming to the UK later this year, let’s get clued up about the Events that we’ll be watching and competing in....

You could follow in the footsteps of our great Olympians - Our What’s On 4 Me supporter James DeGale entered the 2008 Olympics in Beijing and came away as a Gold Medallist at the age of just 19!

 Latest South Yorkshire News!

Voting has now closed for the first What's On 4 Me Awards and Hannah Fisher - one of our featured advertisers on the South Yorkshire site - was a Finalist in TWO categories: Most Outstanding Activity Instructor and Best Local Sports, Health or Fitness Group.

Hannah completed a dance degree in July 2009 at York St John University and is now concentrating on her new love ...ZUMBA!!! Hannah says "It's a fantastic way of getting fit, having fun and feeling good about yourself.  I get an amazing buzz off each of my classes as the women that take part are just so supportive and have great energy."
Since moving to South Yorkshire, Hannah has successfully raised over £1500 for Behcets Syndrome Society through Charity Zumba Marathons (Zumbathon) and Glow in the Dark sessions.
Hannah is now running nine sessions of Zumba every week throughout Doncaster - anyone can turn up and give it a go! 

South Yorkshire What’s On 4 Me are pleased to be, once again, sponsors of the Doncaster CAMRA Beer Festival which will take place from Thursday 12th to Saturday 14th April 2012.  Last year as part of our sponsorship duties, we HAD to sit on the Beer Judging Panel...!

"DoncasterCollege’s Hub campus was an excellent TAP ROOM for the estimated 2,500 people in attendance throughout the Festival. Afterall, a venue of prominence and stature was a prerequisite to house more than 100 cask ales including milds, stouts, porters, ciders and pale ales. And that is before we made a start at the continental bar featuring beers from around the globe.  With beer tokens in hand we approached, to all intense purposes, the Hadrians wall of Doncaster constructed from a seemingly infinite line of casks…"
