Hello! I’m Marilyn Bradshaw and in mid-2010 I joined the What’s On 4 team as the Master Franchisee for What’s On 4 Me!

I’d already been very involved with the award winning “Junior” What’s On 4 websites as my sons, Theo and Hamish, are just 4 ½ years and 11 months old. I found them immensely useful for keeping them busy. However, there comes a time when we all need some ME time!!

Hello! I’m Diane Francis.  I am the UK Website Manager for What's On 4 Me and I am also the Franchisee for What’s On 4 Me in Bristol and Somerset. I’ve lived in Somerset for the past eleven years and can't imagine living anywhere else!

I love getting out and about, trying new things and meeting new people, but I've often found it difficult to find up to date information about what's going on and where. This is what inspired me to join the What's On 4 team.

Karen Seafield - What's On 4 Me UK Sales and Events Manager & Sales Manager for What's On 4 Me Tyne and Wear

Hi, I'm Karen Seafield, local business woman and fundraiser from Sunderland, and I launched my own company KLR Management in 2006 ~ the first PR Company in the city. Four years later I also launched the sister company KLR Psychic Agency ~ one of only a few Psychic agencies in the whole of the UK.

I'm 34, have organised/promoted hundreds of events in the North East ~ including personal apperances with; Danny Dyer, Peter Andre and Sash to name a few.  I was the brainchild behind the Radio One Big Weekend in Sunderland, after appproaching Sunderland Council to host the event and contacting Radio One to organise the event.

I've worked with numerous local and national Businesses in the Northeast, including Passion Nightclub,T-mobile, Global Fitness, Bar Justice, 200 High Street, Theatre Restaurant, Ramsay & Johnson Hair & Beauty - to name a few and I currently organise events with companies such as Tavistock leisure across their NE sites. I helped co-ordinate Sunderland Has Talent competition in 2009 and have raised over £40,000 for local charities over recent years.

I have two children and I'm a self confessed "work-aholic, balanced with family time and I am very dedicated to my career."  I love being involved with Whats On 4 Me locally and Nationally and my role as UK Sales and Events Manager is ideal as I am very much involved with what's going on in our region and nationally, as well as helping organising it.

Bev O'Sullivan - What's on 4 Me South Yorkshire

Hello! I’m Bev O’Sullivan and I've joined the What’s On 4 team as the Franchisee for What’s On 4 Me in South Yorkshire. Apart from a fantastic summer working in the South of France, I’ve always lived in Yorkshire …and love it! I’ve even managed to convince my lovely Irish husband that it’s a great place to live – even if he hasn’t yet picked up the accent.

I worked full-time as a Managing Director in the travel industry for over 16 years and loved the business life - and the numerous trips to Europe. I did however miss seeing my gorgeous children and when a third (and rather surprising!) pregnancy was discovered, I realised it was time to trade in the demanding work schedule for a better balance in life.

I am now really happy to be meeting new challenges in a role that fits brilliantly around my family life. As a busy mum to Sam 9, Sophia 4 and Jude 2, I have used the ‘Junior’ Whats On 4 websites in the past, but must admit it’s also pleasing to have a business that offers inspiration and information for some ‘ME’ time… not just for mums, but for all of us! 

Cindy Bolton - Owner of What's On 4 Me North West Greater Manchester

Hello, I’m Cindy Bolton and I’ve joined the What’s On 4 Me team as the Franchisee for What’s On 4 Me Bolton, Bury and Wigan. I've lived in Bolton all of my life and just love the variety and vibrancy of my home town and its surrounding areas. I’m a mum of two grown up sons who have children (my grandchildren!) of their own.  Up until recently I worked in the voluntary sector where I know there are lots of activities which often go unnoticed.

From experience, finding local activities and events that you like to take part in locally, or learn new things can often be difficult and time consuming. This is what inspired me to take on What’s On 4 Me Bolton, Bury and Wigan.  There are oodles of things to do if you know where to look!

I personally love variety. It’s the spice of life! In the past I’ve tried sailing, fencing and zumba. When I’m not jumping around, I love theatre, live performances of all kinds, eating out, yoga, meditation and so much more!

The What’s On 4 Me website is dedicated to adults from all walks of life, with interests as diverse as you can imagine. I'm Gill ( introducing Hannah) and it's great to be in touch with so many informed people wanting to know where to go in our Cheshire East and Stockport area where we have plenty going on and an explosion of venues and activities waiting for you to explore. But we don't know where everyone hangs out! That's where YOU come in.

We have a wealth of talent around us and we'll be posting relevant information that will make you want to offer your services for events we'll be organising (with you) in YOUR area. You might even decide to talk to us when we think about what events to set up in YOUR area. Let us know where we are welcome and we'll be there to actively promote YOU!

Hi, I’m Anne and I welcome to Manchester, Salford and Trafford What's On 4 Me. I live near Bury and prior to that lived in Prestwich and Salford so I know the area really well.

For over 20 years I have worked mainly in the public sector including in the NHS, local government, higher education and the arts. But I am really looking forward to my new challenge of developing Manchester, Salford and Trafford What's On 4 Me.

From past experience finding out what’s on in your local area can be a time consuming task that’s why I really like the concept of What’s on 4 Me and the fact that it is easy to use, is being continually updated and brings together a comprehensive listing of all local activities and community events in ONE fun east to use website that all the family will enjoy using.

Hi I’m Michelle and Im a Sales & Events Advisor for Manchester What’s On 4 Me. I live in Poynton and have lived here for 11 years and have two children aged 11 and 7. For the last 14 years I have been self employed running a direct sales force with my husband and I am really looking forward to my new challenge of developing Central Manchester & Stockport What’s On 4 Me.

I really feel that this is an essential website, especially since I have hit a change in my own lifestyle where my children no longer need the amount of care that they used to! I have more “Me” time to enjoy, but my problem is – like many of us - “what do I do with it?!” and What’s On 4 Me brings all of the local activities to us in ONE website!

I can now see what’s going on in my local area, so I can programme in my keep fit classes, treat days and special events, whilst working for a company that provides an essential service to the local community. More importantly, I still need to work around my family and working for What’s On 4 Me has helped me do that. I have now developed a new routine and free time, and I can work around my children and also work for a company I believe in. 

Lindsey Gadwah – Owner of What’s On 4 Me North-East London

Hi, my name is Lindsey Gadwah and I am the Franchisee for North-East London. Scottish by birth, I now live in Wanstead, Redbridge with my husband and two young daughters. I am looking forward to promoting exciting activities and events in the area as there is so much going on.

After a career working in various research and information jobs in the business, legal and public sector, I took a break when I had my two girls and with both of them now at school, I am now ready to begin a new chapter with What’s On 4 Me , working from home.

As a family, we love getting out and about, walking and cycling in a surprisingly green area which includes Epping Forest and Lee Valley Park. I also enjoy running in our nearby park (I hoping to run a 10k as my next challenge) and sometimes have time for the odd Zumba or yoga class. I have the best of both worlds as being so close to central London, I also have access to all the wonderful art galleries, museums and theatres there.

I believe that What’s On 4 Me provides a superb service in shining a light on all the diverse activities/classes that are out there and I am relishing the prospect of carrying on the good work in North-East-London.

I'm Tracey Sprigg, the franchisee for What's On 4 Me in Northumberland, born and bred in the North East. Originally from Tyneside, i moved to Northumberland 5 years ago and I Love the area.

Self- employed for over 15yrs ,my background is in the Bridal and Fashion Industry. When my husband and I started a family we took a change of lifestyle and moved to beautiful Northumberland and opened up a B&B, which we run together.

Being involved in the Tourism Industry means knowing what's going on around you, which I like to know ! I am passionate about my area from a business side and also a community side. We have such a lot to offer in Northumberland - rural countryside, hills, beautiful beaches, castles, lots of history and much much more. All of this means we have lots of scope for activities, classes, hobbies and businesses. So, What's On 4 Me is a great way to advertise all this and more !

Elise Easdown - Owner of What's On 4 Australia

Welcome! I joined the UK What's on 4 team in mid-2010 as the Master Franchisee for AUSTRALIA!  I am supported by an amazing group of woman.

In my pre-baby life I was a paediatric Occupational Therapist and Baby Massage Instructor and worked both in Australia and overseas in the Middle East.  Returning to Australia with my little one (now 2 1/2), I was surprised at how hard it was to find local groups and activities and an easy and cheap way to advertise my Baby Massage groups. I thought there must be an easier way! 

After much research and investigation, I was led to the UK team What's on 4 founded by Sam Willoughby.  I thought the sites were comprehensive, fun and innovative and I just knew I wanted to be part of it!

Sam was kind enough (I was pregnant with my second little one at the time) and insightful enough to give me the opportunity to bring her precious brand 'What's on 4' 'Down Under'. So here we are.

At the moment Master 2 and I go to a music class, Toddler Time at the library, gymnastics, Play group and have fun at friends houses and of course the park.  I am looking forward to swimming lessons and gymnastics to burn off some of his energy and doing it all over again with number 2!

Hi I am Zena, and I joined What's On 4 back in 2006 when it was just one website and I am the UK Business Manager.  I live in Kent and have two kids, Beth aged 14 and Benn aged 11.  Beth is our Junior Editor on www.whatson4schoolkids.co.uk running our Kids Only page!

I love a good chat and giggle and get a real kick out of talking to all of our various customers helping them with anything I can.
