“Swing” into action this Summer with New Pro Swingball®
Remember one penny chews? Remember when adventure playgrounds really were adventurous and no one had heard of health and safety? Remember playing Swingball in your garden in the 80’s and 90’s with friends of all ages?

Times have changed; life is more challenging and now so is Swingball! The new Pro Swingball is here – with attitude! It’s stronger, tougher and so much harder to play!

It’s ideal for competitive adults and older children or those who just enjoy racket games. With a larger base for stability and thicker tubing, the all new Pro Swingball is a whopping 1.75m high! This means players have to hit higher (perhaps even jump!) and the larger coil means the game will last longer than ever before.

Need2Know - Gardening
Many homes in the UK have gardens, varying from ‘pocket-sized’ to large estates, and many people now also have access to allotments and community gardens. But how can you make the most of your garden, and where do you start, if, like many people, you have no knowledge of the basics?

Gardening – A Beginner’s Guide is packed full of information for every type of beginner gardener, from designing and planting up your garden to gardening indoors, there is something for everyone. Written by an experienced garden journalist, this book is a no-nonsense guide, using common plant names rather than Latin names, and includes a gardener’s dictionary to unravel the jargon.

There are useful tips to minimise your impact on the environment and use the ecology of your garden to reduce pests instead of resorting to chemicals. With chapters covering vegetables, fruits and herbs, bedding plants, lawn care and propagation this book will be an essential companion for anyone that wants to take up gardening.

Audéo Perfect Bass Earphones

Phonak, the world's leading manufacturer of hearing instruments, has extended its popular range of earphones with a new model designed for music-fans seeking a dynamic, powerful bass sound.

Audéo Perfect Bass earphones are fitted with specially designed, in-built filters that 'tune' sound waves to boost low frequencies and provide cleaner bass tones. The result is a punchier more exciting output, that doesn't compromise on the overall sound quality.

4 You Review: "The sound quality is absolutely exceptional, very distinctive and clear, and the bass is terrific. I have used these at the gym, on the train and at home and was not disturbed by any external noise. Also, they are amazingly comfortable. My current set are hard and after a while cause discomfort, but these are soft and a perfect fit especially for my small ears. I didn't have to readjust or remove them, as I do with my usual set even after an hour. Although quite pricey and not in the price bracket that I would generally pay, I would definitely recommend investing in a pair now (or put them on your Xmas list) as the quality of sound and comfort that I have experienced means I would find my usual earphones quite inferior."

Rocktails (www.rocktails.co.uk)
Ideal for cocktail lovers with no time, a tiny kitchen, or a shortage of mixology skills, Rocktails come with just three instructions: freeze, leave, squeeze. ConvenientThe alcohol is included, so it's super easy, minimal mess, and no waste. Simply FREEZE, LEAVE, SQUEEZE.

They are perfectly mixed every single time. The frost effect is almost impossible to recreate at home and the full fruity flavour makes them incomparable to anything else.

The pre-mixed cocktails are free from artificial colours and flavourings, come in double servings at 10% ABV and each cocktail is no more than 140 calories per serving.
4 You Review:  "There is nothing we at What's On 4 Me like more than sampling new products and letting you know what we think!! This month we were delighted to be invited to try Rocktails, the new cocktails that have been launched in Cardiff and Bristol this summer, before being rolled out to the rest of the UK later this year. So I rounded up a few girlfriends for a tasting session!

Rocktails are available in three fruity flavours: Frostberry, Arctic Passion and Coolcumber. They are a fusion of refreshing fruits and vodka that have been expertly blended to create a spectacular frozen cocktail that looks and tastes amazing!

Rocktails come in a handy double serve pouch, which you simply pop into the freezer and leave for around 4 hours, then take it out and leave at room temperature for 20 minutes, give it a squeeze to awaken the frost and then pour.

We were expecting a normal fruity vodka-based cocktail, but we were being unfair to Rocktails! Firstly the fabulous frost-effect you get on your glass makes these cocktails look as if they have been expertly mixed and served by your very own bartender. Then you taste them - refreshing, smooth, sophisticated, elegant - these are for discerning adults who know a thing or two about a decent cocktail! We spent the next hour debating the relative merits of the three flavours and trying to decide which was our favourite, which was, it turned out, an impossible task! "

Little Chef (www.littlechef.co.uk)
Our aim is very simple: to be the motorist's friend, serving up quality food and offering great value for money. Expect freshly prepared food, using the best ingredients we can buy. Enjoy a welcoming, informal setting and watch out for some new additions to our menu like our Tasty Toasties and Fish and Chips – helping you beat the rush hour (and the hunger pangs).
4 You Review:  "I was amazed...! As I have only visited previously for the famous 'Early Starter' breakfast, I was yesterday treated to Suet Crust Steak & Ale Pie... What a transformation!

I went to the Little Chef in Doncaster at 6.30pm yesterday with my husband and 3 children (9, 5 & 2) and we thought it was fantastic.

We have only ever used Little Chef for breakfast in the past and we were well impressed with the new design - very clean and open, and it was lovely to see the cooks working.

The restaurant wasn't very busy (only 2-3 other tables in use) and we were welcomed and shown to a booth immediately by Jacqui. The children were given their menus and crayons and a drinks order was taken within a few minutes.

Jacqui came back to take our order after around 5-10 mins, she was very helpful and very chatty with the children.

The food arrived within around 15 mins and we had 5 completely finished plates!! I had the steak & ale pie - very tasty, and I make a mean one myself so this is high praise... My husband had the 'hot pot of the day', which was chicken and he thought it was delicious. My two boys (9 & 2) had the bangers and my daughter had the 'slurpy spaghetti'. It's always nice to see the children finish their meals.

They were rewarded with ice creams, which were probably a bit too big for the 2 youngest ones, but they had a good go at polishing them off! I had a classic pancake with lemon & sugar, which was a lovely treat.

The bill came to £45, which wasn't too bad for a family of five including drinks and puddings. Yes, you can get slightly cheaper meals on the road, but we had 5 big portions and wouldn't have felt as full if we had had a Big Mac & Fries that's for sure...

All in all, I would definately recommend Little Chef, the service was exceptional, the restaurant at Doncaster is well thought out and is quite a chilled place to eat overlooking the countryside (as it faces away from the A1), there is even a nice deck outside with tables & chairs for you to just stop and have a relaxing drink before continuing your journey."

Roomba by iRobot
A vacuum cleaner with a difference! Starting at £249.99 (and available online and from selected retailers including John Lewis), the Roomba manoeuvres its way around a room, using sophisticated technology to clean around furniture, along wall edges, under tables and sofas, without the user having to lift a finger. A nifty little virtual wall will also restrict it from cleaning near anything it shouldn’t. Roomba cleans carpets, rugs, tiled and hard floors with ease, and when it’s finished, or low on battery, it automatically finds its way back to its charging dock.
4 You Review:  "The Roomba was reviewed by What's On 4 Me's Marilyn and it worked like an absolute dream! The Roomba randomly manoevered around the first floor of the house, going around all of the edges of the room and furniture and returned to the docking station to charge, before powering up again.

The Roomba can be programmed to power up on certain days and times, so you can programme the vacuuming to be done when you're out and about!

This definitely is a product which let's you enjoy far more "Me Time"! Well done iRobot!

CraftArtist Platinum
It's the all-in-one tool for those who want to create any type of print project - everything from photobooks, tags and invitations to greeting cards, gift bags and scrapbooks. Designs can be personalised with unlimited pictures and text using the easy drag-and-drop function, craft tools, and the built-in photo editor for high quality results that are guaranteed to impress friends and family.
4 You Review:  "CraftArtist is a very clever bit of software that gives you the ability to create your own personal and unique print projects, either from templates or from scratch. Craft papers and embellishments can become quite pricey - CraftArtist gives you the opportunity to be creative with your photos and paper goods without the big price tag.

The software consists of 5 CDs - a program CD, Wedding Day, Greeting Cards, Baby Photos and Scrapbooking. There is an endless number of templates and graphics to choose from as well as fonts, special effects and craft tools such as punching and stencils. It has built-in photo editing so you can tweak your photos exactly as you like them and then share your finished article via email, PDF, online or by printing it.

I was very excited when I was asked to review this product. As it’s my son’s birthday soon, I chose to put some party things together - a gift bag, a cupcake wrapper and an invitation. I found it very easy to use as you just drop and drag your selections. The finished items looked smart and my son was chuffed to bits.

As a crafter and graphic designer, I can see the advantages of this software. My only criticisms would be that your finished product isn’t ‘tactile’ and that there is a lot of ‘how to’ reading. I like taking the time to plan, make, cut and glue my projects - that’s the whole point of making some time for yourself. Having said that, when it comes to invites, party goods and photobooks, I think CraftArtist is ideal.... I’ll just be doing my scrapbooking the old fashion way."

Slim Gym
‘Time for a New You’?? Drop a couple of dress sizes! Weight loss, body shaping and cellulite are a concern for many people. At the West London Dermatology Centre, the UK’s first Slim Gym offers a state of the art, clinically proven and safe system of body shaping and fat reduction. Using the latest i-lipo laser system for non invasive fat removal, there will be immediate and visible results. Add to that a Slim Gym exercise programme designed specifically for you, and nutritional guidance and supplements, and you can effectively target problem fat areas to reshape and reduce fat. Over a four week course of treatment you can lose 1-2 dress sizes without surgery and without strict dieting.   The programme is suitable for both men and women of all shapes and sizes..
4 You Review:  "I visited SlimGym clinic in the hope that their promise of weight loss was not just a little promise to get you there. All this hi-tech concept in fat reduction and body shaping using non-invasive laser technology got my geeky side very excited! What sounded the best was that you can target problem areas and concentrate on them.

I am not going to beat around the bush I have lost 7 centimetres from my waist across three measured areas after just one session! Everyone [Dawn, Stephanie & Sandra] is really friendly, making this experience even more enjoyable!
After arrival I was asked to complete a medical questionnaire. There are a few exceptions on who can have this procedure so please consult the SlimGym before your trip. After completing the forms we moved on to a room when you get measured and then receive the treatment. I-lipo is a laser diode system which consists of palm size pads. They are attached firmly to your chosen area with stretchy belt and two small tennis ball size pads are placed on the nearest limp nodes. Using the I-Lipo multipad system, lying down, relaxed and having a chat you pass your 20 minutes. The pads can be used on calves, knees, thighs, buttock, stomach, arms and even on your chin! You hardly feel anything other than a little heat. If you have very dark skin the heat sensation can be more noticeable.

While receiving your treatment your exercise programme is discussed / explained with you. It is important that you follow this advice to allow released fat to be used up as energy in your workout. If you decide to take all 8 sessions of this treatment, part of the programme would include analysis of your diet and advice from a nutritionist. Finally when your session is done you get to have a laser massage which had me totally in stitches! (It tickled – lots!)

I felt fabulous when leaving the room until I hit the gym next door. This is where the hard work starts! Your personal fitness instructor explains to you the exercises you will do and lets you warm up. I am not going to go into detail but my muscles definitely did let me know the following day of my minimal fitness but it was so worth it! They recommend exercise should last around 45 minutes after each I-Lipo session.

In short, you get a three step programme which includes consultation and analysis of your body, 20 minute treatment followed by 20 minutes exercise and finally nutritional advice that will help you maximise your results. Eight sessions over four weeks seems to me like a very good bargain if you get a body two dress sizes smaller afterwards!

I think it is fantastic way to kick start healthier living especially for those who go to gym but see no results - Slim Gym results are immediate that will motivate you to keep active."

Tibits Family Friendly Restaurant in the Heart of London
It's in the centre of town but very family friendly and has a child's play area. It's also great for al fresco dining. It is an all-day, boutique, vegetarian restaurant in Regent Street's Food Quarter at: 12-14 Heddon Street, London W1B 4DA. Tibits offers fresh, healthy and delicious vegetarian dishes. Customers can create their own ideal meal from a selection of tempting dishes inspired by flavours from around the world from Asian to Indian and Mediterranean, including good old British classics such as bangers and mash. Fresh juices, organic beers and wine are also on the menu. Customers can choose from a fantastic selection of over 40 hot and cold dishes from the famous Tibits 'food boat'. Food is priced by weight so they are in complete control of what they eat, how much they eat and how much they pay. The menu reflects the seasons so there is always something new to taste and the menu is changed every six months. The restaurant is a popular dining choice with celebrities, including Hollywood actress Ellen Page, singers Leona Lewis and Beverley Knight, British comedian Alan Davies, Bianca Jagger, Gordon Ramsay and the iconic British designer Pam Hogg, who are all fans of tibits.
4 You Review:  "Tibits has a fabulous location, just off Regent St next to London's Absolut Ice Bar. We started out meal of international vegetarian goodies with the cocktail special of the night - a cucumber and apple mojito (£8). The way tibits works is that you take a plate - fill it with hot and cold vegetarian delights - and then take it to be weighed. A plate costs between £7 and £10, and for that I sampled about 10 different dishes.

Our favs of the night were the fibre-packed Indian Dahl, Spinach Quiche, Cheesy Pizokel (an Austrian-dumpling version of macaroni cheese), Coconut and Peanut fritter and the anti-oxidant rich Red Rice Salad. But there was a huge range of Greek, Oriental, Italian, Scandinavian, Indian and French style veggie dishes. Enough to fill up even a strapping bloke (although he'd probably pile his plate high!) The hot dishes are changed daily and the cold ones are seasonal, but tibits keeps a few favs year-round (like Aubergine Antipasti and Lentil Salad with Chive). Great service and a buzzing atmosphere/location complemented the fab food.

You aren't rushed so you can settle in with a desert (we liked Mango Mousse with Almond Brittle) or a coffee. Trust me, veggie has never tasted so good. And if vegetarian living means mid-week mojitos, I'd consider converting."

Swiggies
Swiggies was invented as an alternative to fanny packs and having to carry water bottles while exercising. This new hands-free approach is simple and easy to use. You just fill them up with water and go! They also make a great unique gift for anyone on your shopping list.
4 You Review:   “Swiggies are fun and funky looking and extremely comfortable to wear on your wrist when out doing sports; especially walking, running, and cycling. Its sucker lid ensures no spillages whilst having a slurp on the go. I would rate this product 7/10 and my only criticism of it would be that it doesn’t hold that much water due to its small size so it is not really suitable for sports of any long distances but is perfect for short exercise trips.”
